My Day Nursery Ltd is a local company which specialises in private children's day nurseries and has just expanded its nursery group from two to three nurseries within Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

The first My Day Nursery was opened in Tewkesbury in December 2000 and is housed in the former Post Office on Ashchurch Road in a lovely Victorian building which has been sympathetically restored to retain the character of its age. The second nursery was opened a year later and was converted from a residential property which was built in the 1930s in a rustic red brick giving it a warm and homely appearance.

Early 2003 saw the re-opening of an old established nursery under the My Day Nursery banner, housed in a comfortable and spacious Victorian building in Denmark Road in Gloucester, with additional provision for a broader age range of children. All the nurseries have colourful, light and airy play rooms and have been renovated to a high standard to incorporate the modern requirements of a bright and stimulating day nursery.

The idea to open a nursery was originally hatched by the owners, Jane and Chris Renfrew, a marketing consultant and a local GP, when they had difficulty finding quality childcare in the area for their children at a young age. They determined to create a nursery that was all that they wanted for their children, and more. Together with the people who staff it, and the parents and children who support it, they can bring their vision to life every day.

My Day Nursery Ltd offers children from 3 months to 8 years a genuine home from home, a warm, individual, caring, stimulating and secure environment where they can happily play, learn, thrive and grow.

Children are provided with a nutritionally balanced diet, and meals and snacks are prepared throughout the day in the kitchen by our own chef, using as much fresh food as possible, with special diets catered for.
